We Are SOC 2® Certified!
Update: We are now SOC 2® Type 2 Certified! Read the update here.
Since the very beginning, we’ve taken security seriously and always held ourselves to high standards when protecting our customers’ data and privacy.
“Our users value privacy and security. We understand that, and it’s important to us to keep their data private and secure. We want to earn—and keep—their trust,” says Patrick Sullivan, Linq’s Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder.
Now, we’ve taken our commitment to security even further. We’re excited to announce that we are SOC 2® Type 1 certified. After successfully completing an audit by Sensiba San Filippo, LLP (SSF), we’ve received our SOC 2® Type 1 report. “It’s nice to now have our SOC 2® certification to make our commitment to the security of our platform official,” adds Sullivan.
What Does It Mean To Be SOC 2® Type 1 Certified?
SOC stands for System and Organization Controls. The SOC 2® information security standard is an audit that was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A SOC 2® Type I report outlines our organization's systems and determines whether the design of the system meets a specific security standard at a point in time. More specifically, the audit looks at our infrastructure, software, personnel, data, and policies. Our final report had 0 noted exceptions, and we were issued a “clean” audit from SSF.
Put more simply, our third party auditor, SSF, certified that Linq’s security policies and controls meet the highest industry standards. If you’ve been wanting to use Linq at your company, you can now feel that much more confident in the safety of your data with Linq.
