Linq ships RadCRM support; loan officers activate Linq Blue to double engagement

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Linq, the leading platform transforming how professionals connect and engage through smart lead-capture technology, announces today the availability of its Linq Blue iMessaging service on real-estate focused RadCRM.
The Arizona company, which offers specialized tools, features and integrations for loan officers, dropped its traditional SMS service provider for the engagement, credibility, and flexibility of Linq Blue.
With nearly 15 years of experience in the loan industry, Rad CRM creator Michael Radcliffe turned his software-innovation hobby into the business in 2019. A tech-savvy customer mentioned Linq to Radcliffe, and after speaking with a Linq Account Executive, he decided to make the switch.
“I can’t explain to you how much money it cost us to go to the other phone people and how long it can take, and it frustrates clients,” Radcliffe said. “It’s been probably the biggest thorn in my side. I want to be able to communicate normally and send an emoji without being charged five times the cost.”
Radcliffe said the red tape of A2P 10DLC compliance, plus the impersonal nature of green SMS texts with disclaimers, was at odds with the client culture he wanted to cultivate. iMessage allows his customers and team to participate in group chats, send high-quality attachments and emoji reactions, and more.
“We flew out to meet Michael, and it was clear from the beginning it was the right fit,” said Elliott Potter, CEO of Linq. “He leads by example and holds himself to the same standards he expects from his clients. That’s honesty, trustworthiness, and straightforward communication.”
Radcliffe said simply being able to talk naturally about his services was game-changing. With Linq Blue, the strict requirements of A2P 10DLC compliance fall away in favor of authentic communication. Specific industry terms that loan officers need to use to avoid confusion, such as “rates dropped,” “interest rate,” and “pre-approval,” are not allowed in standard SMS campaigns.
“I want to say what I want and express myself how I should express myself to a client,” he said. “That fosters relationships, which fosters more deals, and that’s how I grow a business.”
Linq Blue users say that the act of typing an iMessage inherently improves the quality of messages because iPhone users have used it every day for more than a decade to communicate with everyone in their lives.
“I can communicate like I do anyone else on my iPhone,” he said. “We want clean users — good people who want to help other human beings in their business, and want to actually fertilize a business,” he said. “Now, I can communicate like I do with anyone else on my iPhone.”
